About the Dentists

Dr. Sarah Hummel

Dr. Sarah Hummel is a native of Monroe, Louisiana and a graduate of St. Frederick High School. She attended LSU in Baton Rouge and received a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She completed her dental school education and received her DDS degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Late in her third year she joined a mission team that performed dental work in a remote Amazon village in Peru. Dr. Sarah has a special interest in oral pathology, and as a student, worked with the oral pathologists at LSU dental school subsequently receiving the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology award. Dr. Sarah enjoys playing guitar, reading, sports and outdoor activities, being with family and friends, youth ministry and singing with her church band.
